Carvers Bakery is a breakfast, lunch and dinner resturant with take out breads, pastries, and espresso drinks.

We decided early on that if we were going to be here we didn’t want to serve cheap or pre-prepared food ... What’s the point?? When we took over the bakery we got rid of all shortenings, food colorings, additives, conditioners, etc and now make all our pastries, breads, muffins and bagels from scratch with grade A butter, natural starter, flour, yeast, sugar, salt, whole eggs ...... Simple and natural ingredients.

Our sauces, soups, stews and dressings are our own recipes, we hand roll our bagels, hand squeeze our orange and grapefruit juices ourselves. While this is more labor intensive it gives our awesome employees a tremendous sense of pride and accomplishment, and this enthusiasm is obvious to our guests a fact attested to by returning visitors year after year.

Our hours change seasonally:

Typical Summer and Winter hours: 

Breakfast and Lunch   Every day 7am to 2pm

Dinner  5pm to 9 pm  (reservations accepted)

Spring and Fall: We usually close for several weeks and when open we operate on a reduced schedule. Our opening times are very dependant on what kind of weather we are having. Often we will have a very late Indian Summer into October so our visitors keep coming. With the first falls of snow visitor numbers drop so we take advantage of quiet time for maintanence, repairs, and R&R.
